A Dynamic Team of Board-Certified Physicians

Dr. Scott G. Brown graduated from The New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1995. He completed a Family Medicine residency at (LBMC) Long Beach Medical Center in 1998, receiving the high honor of "Intern of the Year" and subsequently named as Chief Resident. He continued on with LBMC accepting a fulltime Attending position in the Emergency Department. In 1998, Dr. Brown returned to his dream of Primary Care and opened his first medical practice in Hempstead, NY while continuing his work in Emergency Medicine. In 2001, he opened a second office along with Dr Keith S. Leventhal in Bellmore, NY.  While still growing his private practice, Dr. Brown joined the team at CityMD Urgent Care in 2014 for a period of 5 years.

Currently, Dr. Brown is the Chief Medical Officer at Complete Primary Care of Long Island and holds a seat as a board member for Catholic Health Services (CHS).

Dr. Brown offers his patients over 25 years of clinical experience with extensive background in both Primary and Urgent Care. Dr. Brown continues to strive for excellence in Family Medicine while focusing on primary prevention and value-based healthcare.

Dr. Keith S. Leventhal graduated from Nova-Southeastern University Medical School in South Florida in 1995. Prior to graduate school, he received a Bachelor's of Science degree in Biology from the New York State University at Albany, receiving Cum Laude honors. 

After four years in Florida, Dr. Leventhal returned home to his New York roots and completed a Family Practice residency at Long Beach Medical Center in 1998. Dr. Leventhal has been board-certified in Family Practice since 1998 and has made it his life's work being one of the top rated physician's in the Long Island area. Dr. Leventhal has successfully built two competitive primary care practices during his career and is focused on the growth and longevity of Complete Primary Care of Long Island.

Dr. Leventhal offers his patients over 25 years of compassionate clinical care. His field of expertise is Family Medicine with a focus on primary prevention and behavioral health. 

Vincent J. Polo, certified Physician Assistant, brings his experience of Emergency Medicine to the Primary Care setting. As a graduate of Stony Brook University Physician Assistant Program in 2018, he has dedicated himself to providing the highest quality care along with a compassionate edge. During his undergraduate years at Stony Brook University, Vincent was an outstanding student athlete, playing football at the highest level for the Seawolves. His athletic training and conditioning provides him with a strong background in physical fitness and overall well being. Vincent joined the team at Complete Primary Care of Long Island upon graduation in 2018.

Joseph A. Accetta, certified Physician Assistant, graduated from New York Institute of Technology with his Masters in Physician Assistant studies in 2018. Prior to becoming a Physician Assistant, Joseph spent several years as a Medical Assistant working in the fields of endocrinology, Urology and outpatient surgery. His healthcare background and passion for medical education brings great reward to his patients. During his undergraduate studies he completed a Bachelor's degree in Music and Western Philosophy, both of which remain areas of interest to this day. Joseph joined the team at Complete Primary Care of Long Island in 2019.
